My name is Steve Bertram. I am originally from North Bay ON, but moved to Ottawa about 2 years ago, after I finished University. I moved to Ottawa to take the Sport Business Management program at Algonquin college. It was one of the best years of my life and an amazing program. I have always had a passion for sports. I played sports growing up, have coached different sports and have always wanted to learn more. So naturally, I have been seeking a career in sports. I have been fortunate enough to have a couple different jobs in the sports industry since moving to Ottawa.

However, over the last year I have realized that just working in sport is not my number main goal. I want to work somewhere where I can help people and have a positive impact on them. That is why I hope to be a Guru. It sounds like the kind of rewarding job that I am seeking where I can help people and make a difference, while still working in the type of environment I have been successful in. From the top down, it looks like an amazing company that has great values and culture that is shared among all employees!
